Monarch Education is looking for a social worker to work night shifts, supporting both children from the age of 16 and young adults at a residential setting across two sites, one in the central Bristol area, the other in Yate Town. The residents have varying needs, including behavioural needs and extremely challenging behaviour. Each tenant has their own individual needs and individual requirements.
In the role you will be responsible for working on a 1:1 basis, inspiring the occupants and supporting them by providing advice, support and the resources to accommodate their needs and creating a comfortable living environment.
The ideal candidate will be any of the following-
- Experienced supporting children with challenging behaviours; this does not need to be school based, those from a Youth Work, Social Care, Residential Care and Sports Coaching background are welcomed to apply
- Psychology graduates are welcome to apply
- Have a calm, nurturing approach with an ability to assign clear expectations
- Be confident building positive relationships with people from disadvantaged/challenging backgrounds, to help develop their social skills
We're offering fantastic pay rates between £9.99 and £11.50 per hour! With shift hours- Monday-Sunday- 21:30-07:30.
