Hours of Work: 35 hours per week - Term time only
Salary Scale: Varied depending on level of experience/ qualification
Contract: Temporary to Permanent - 12-week probationary period

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a SEN Learning Support Assistant for a college centre based in New Malden. You will provide support to young people and adult, 16+, with profiles of need that include PMLD, ASD, SLD and Positive Behaviour Support. Other Additional Needs in the college include:
- Speech, Language & Communication Difficulties.
- Specific Learning Difficulties.
- Moderate Learning Difficulties.
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health Difficulties.
If you have previous experience as a SEN Learning Support Assistant or SEN Teaching Assistant we hope you will consider joining this strong team.
To be considered for the role, you must be able to demonstrate your desire to work with young people with Autism Spectrum Condition & Special Educational Needs and associated difficulties or come from a similar type of background. The successful person will be working cross-curricular as a teaching assistant so will need to be able to deal with a constantly changing and evolving work load.

Commit to working full time for the rest of the academic year & beyond.
Experience in working with children and young adults. This may include caring, coaching, mentoring, youth work, community work or volunteering in schools.
Able to adapt to an ever-changing work load.
Attending review meetings.
Target setting with teaching and other support staff.
The role includes providing 1-2-1 support in lessons and supporting teachers to deliver individual learning programmes. You will be working in teams of Teaching Assistants, Teachers and other professionals who will support and mentor you.
