Monarch Education are an outstanding Education agency with over 20 years experience working alongside schools and colleges across the UK. We are recruiting for an outstanding Teaching Assistant with the health and wellbeing of students always in mind in and around the West Bromwich area.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing the necessary support to learner within a primary school environment, with a focus on strong communication, interaction, and learning.
  • Understanding social, emotional, mental health, sensory and physical needs.
  • Consistently providing support and encouragement to aid to student’s progression and educational path.
  • Working 1-1 or within small groups.
  • Adapting your approach to suit individuals learning capabilities and competency.

Ideally you will to have:

  • Level 3 qualification
  • Experience supporting young adults or primary/secondary students in an educational environment.
  • An understanding of the teaching of phonics.
  • The ability to establish constructive and positive relationships with your students.
  • A high degree of resilience.
