The school are seeking an individual who is confident in communicating and interacting with young people and supporting them.

Job Description:

  • Ability to manage behaviour and talk to parents and carers when needed.
  • Taking an interest in and supporting the wellbeing of students.
  • Plan and teach lessons with small groups of students, groups, or individuals (if necessary)
  • Prepare teaching materials, take registers, and write reports.
  • Phonics experience

The Ideal Candidate/Qualifications:

  • Will have previous experience as a teaching assistant or within a similar role.
  • A relevant qualification in education is desirable.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and communication skills
  • Ability to create a supportive learning environment with students.
  • Has a patient and empathetic approach whilst working with the children.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced child only DBS and two educational references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working in an Education Setting.
