A Level Law Teacher

Job Type: 0.6 – Full-time contract

Monarch Education seeks an experienced Law Teacher to work in a Manchester-based college.

Monarch Education is working with a school that requires an A-level law Teacher to join their team. They are looking for someone who is available for an immediate start. The contract will span until at least Christmas, with the opportunity for an ongoing contract for the right person.

You will be working in a large secondary school with good senior management. Their last Ofsted report rated them as GOOD. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a supportive faculty who have high education standards.

The school is looking for:

• QTS and QTLS applicants only
• Someone with recent experience teaching law to an A-level standard in the UK (a reference will be required)
• Awareness and in-depth understanding of the National Curriculum across KS3 and KS4
• British-trained teachers and overseas-trained teachers who have the eligibility to work in the UK

The successful candidate will:

• Display an evident passion for law and the ability to keep the attention of a large class
• Maintain a high level and standard of subject-specific knowledge (law) to support the delivery of the curriculum.
• Will carry out intervention and support for underachieving students.
• Respond positively to young people’s needs and seek out innovative ways of engaging with them as individuals
• Can build strong positive relationships with colleagues and students alike
