Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ADHD in a primary school setting in Keynsham. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in November 2025, ideal for someone with experience in supporting children with additional needs.

About the Role:

You will be working closely with teaching staff to provide tailored support to a pupil with ADHD, helping them to access learning, manage behaviour, and thrive in the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with ADHD
  • Assist with classroom activities and transitions
  • Implement strategies to support focus, emotional regulation, and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience supporting children with ADHD or other SEND needs
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEND (desirable)
  • A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
