Monarch Education is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual for the role of Administrator at one of our North Birmingham schools. If you have previous administrative experience and are passionate about creating a positive learning environment, this role is for you!

Your New Role:

  • Oversee the day-to-day school operations, ensuring smooth functioning of all departments.
  • Liaise and collaborate with principals, teachers, and staff to implement school policies and procedures.
  • Support the development and execution of school improvement plans.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for teachers and support staff.
  • Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff, promoting continuous improvement.
  • Manage school systems to ensure all records are maintained efficiently.
  • Handle student admissions, registration, and enrolment processes.
  • Work with financial staff to track spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and allocate funds appropriately.
  • Develop, review, and update school policies in line with legal and educational requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations around child protection and education standards.
  • Take inbound and make outbound calls during office hours.
  • Interact with visitors to the school, including parents/guardians, and manage deliveries.

The Desired Candidate Will:

  • Have previous school administrative experience and be proficient in using school systems such as SIMS, ARBOUR, and ParentPay.
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office packages such as Word and Excel.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Understand data protection and confidentiality requirements.
