About the role:

Representing one of our clients in North Birmingham, this well renowned secondary school are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Support Officer to join their dynamic team of support staff, contributing to the academic and personal development of students in a supportive and inclusive environment. Working hours are between 08:00 – 16:00.

As an integral part of our client’s business support team, your expertise will be crucial in fostering an exceptional learning environment for students by providing business support at an excellent level to teachers, students and the broader community.

The successful candidate must be a dedicated team player with outstanding organisational and technical skills. You will have a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and the ability to cultivate strong relationships within the school.

Job Summary:

  • Provide administrative support to the business functions of the school and its estate
  • Provide administrative and clerical support for the business services and Student welfare.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining student records to a high standard
  • Provide a receptionist service for the school
  • Supporting links between community, families and local environment

Requirements:

  • 5 A* – Cs at GCSE including English & Maths
  • Experience of working in an administrative setting
  • Must be able to use MS Office proficiently such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The capacity to prioritise tasks, work efficiently and accurately, especially under pressure, meeting deadlines and using your own initiative
