Location: Erdington, Birmingham

Pay: £150 – £240 p/day

Start date: Summer Term – End of April 2025

Working hours: Full Time – 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday

We are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving Secondary School based in Erdington, B23. This is an ongoing full-time role, starting from the end of April 2025. This is your chance to shape young minds, ignite their passion for computing, and help them develop the skills they need for the future.

Requirements of applicant:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at secondary school level (desirable but not essential).
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and computer science principles.
• Passionate about technology and inspiring students.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Computer Science.
• Planning and delivering dynamic, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
• Inspiring students to develop a passion for computer science and technology.
• Supporting students in developing their problem-solving and coding skills.
• Collaborating with colleagues to improve teaching and learning in the department.
• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
