Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced cover supervisor to work with a secondary school in Saltley, Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and enthusiastic individual who can thrive in a dynamic education environment. This role is to start in January 2025!

Role Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a focused and productive environment
  • Provide Support to students where necessary, fostering engagement and motivation
  • Work with teaching staff and senior leaders to uphold the school values and standards

Qualifications/ Person Specifications:

  • Must have prior experience working as a cover supervisor or in a similar role within a school setting
  • A degree in any subject field
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to work well under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skill
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures (Training will be provided if necessary
