Pay: £83.33 – £120 p/day

Working hours: Full Time – 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday

Full-Time Cover Supervisor – Secondary School in Smethwick (B67) – Immediate Start!

Monarch Education are currently seeking a full-time Cover Supervisor to join an ambitious and supportive Secondary School based in Smethwick (B67), with an immediate start. This role involves covering a range of subjects in KS3, KS4 and possibly KS5.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes of students in the absence of their regular teacher. You will need to be confident in managing behaviour, delivering pre-planned work, and ensuring a positive learning environment.

Requirements of applicant:

• Recent and relevant experience working with young people, this can be in an educational, coaching or care setting (ideally some experience with secondary aged children).
• Qualifications relevant to Education (desirable, not essential).
• Proactive and confident, with excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• A passion for supporting young people and helping them reach their full potential.
• Flexible and adaptable to work across different subjects and year groups.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes of students in the absence of their teacher
• Delivering pre-planned work and activities
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Ensuring a safe and positive learning environment
• Building positive relationships with students and staff
