About the Role
You’ll be teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and practical DT lessons that encourage creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills. The department offers a broad curriculum including product design, resistant materials, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Design & Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Plan and deliver high-quality, hands-on lessons
• Support students in developing design thinking and technical skills
• Contribute to curriculum planning and department projects
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring workshop environment
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Design & Technology
• Experience teaching DT up to GCSE level
• Excellent classroom and workshop management skills
• A passion for practical learning and student development
• A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
