Electrical Installation MGL – Bordesley Green – Immediate Start

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Electrical Installation MGL (Main-Grade Lecturer) to deliver high-quality teaching at a well-established vocational training centre in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. This is a Full Time, working Mondays to Fridays (36.5 hours per week), with an immediate start available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrical professional with teaching experience to support learners in developing both practical and theoretical skills in electrical installation. You’ll be working with students across different levels, helping them progress toward industry-recognised qualifications and future employment.

• Hours: Mondays to Friday, 36.5 hours per week

• Specialism: Electrical Installation (Theory and Practical)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience teaching electrical installation in a further education or training setting
• Strong subject knowledge and practical experience in the electrical industry
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• A learner-focused approach and commitment to inclusive education
• Relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

• Supporting learners through assessments and practical tasks
• Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
• Ensuring compliance with awarding body standards
