Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and vibrant primary school in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about early childhood education to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective learning activities tailored to EYFS pupils.
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that encourages children’s development in line with the EYFS curriculum.
• Assist with day-to-day classroom management, preparation of resources, and small group activities.
• Observe and record children’s progress, offering constructive feedback to teachers and parents where required.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff to contribute to a cohesive and supportive school community.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in an EYFS setting is essential.
• A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Education, is desirable.
• A genuine passion for early years education and a commitment to supporting children’s learning and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
