Higher Level Teaching Assistant – HLTA

Monarch Education are looking for quality Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to join our wonderful team of teaching professionals! We are looking for educators across the Gloucestershire area to cover both on a day-to-day and long term basis for September 2024. Offering you flexible work in your local area, we will ensure you will be enjoying making difference! As the HLTA, you will step up in the classroom and offer out your knowledge and experiences to best support the class teacher and pupils through their educational journey!

We are currently looking to bring in dedicated KS1 and KS2 educators to cover a range of both short and long term opportunities that we have for the next academic year. Working with a wide variety of primary schools across Gloucestershire, we know we will find you the school that suits your experience and allows YOU to develop professionally. We’ll be here to support you every step of the way, ensuring we are available to answer any questions you may have!

Required experience and qualifications:

• Will have previous experience as a HLTA.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Be able to motivate and support children from all backgrounds, as well as support their individual needs.
• Assist the teacher in maintaining a positive and safe learning space.
• Proven adaptablitiy in classroom environments

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborating effectively with the teacher and fellow teaching professionals to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Assisting with behaviour management, applying your skills to create a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Providing one-on-one and group support to students.
• Building great relationships with staff and children to maximise their engagement in activities.
