Monarch Education are working with a school located in B13, south Birmingham who are looking for a motivational history teacher, this role will be on a long term, permanent basis and is looking to start as soon as possible.
The ideal candidate will need to be enthusiastic and a well-qualified history teacher, It will be essential for the successful candidate to be able to drive the humanities curriculum forward, as well as being able to deliver high quality teaching of history in KS3, KS4 and KS5.The teachers must be committed to further improve standards and support students.
To be considered for this role;
That you possess a Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching History to secondary school students.
Excellent curriculum knowledge.
Prior history in being a history teacher.
Confidence in delivering the subject to younger year groups and to GCSE standard.
The school are looking for someone who can;
Create engaging and challenging lessons.
Plan and focus on specific history topics and adapt lessons to suit the needs of the children.
Use various teaching strategies to help children understand the history.
Consistently provide support and encouragement to aid student’s progression and motivate individuals.
Work within small to large groups and being a leader to students.
