Humanities Teacher

Pay: £140 – £230 p/day

Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday, FULL TIME

A mainstream secondary school are looking for a passionate Humanities Teacher join them for a long-term vacancy. This is a welcoming secondary school with a positive and forward-thinking ethos. They have grown and developed a strong department, and they are looking for a teacher who can promote a love of learning for the subject.

This is a full class teaching role and there will be planning and marking involved. To be successful you must have experience delivering History to KS4. Experience teaching RE would be an advantage but not essential. This is a temporary role however, for the right candidate there will be an opportunity for progression and a permanent contract.

This role will be term time only and candidates must have relevant experience, ideally qualified teacher status or a recognised teaching qualification. To be considered you must have recent experience teaching Humanities.

The school are happy to consider Unqualified Teachers and NQTS.

Candidates must be ready to start work in September and be able to work 8:30am – 3:30pm.
