Monarch Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Yate. This is a full-time, long-term role starting in November 2025, offering a fantastic opportunity to support young learners in a nurturing and well-resourced environment.

About the Role:

You will be supporting pupils in Key Stage 1, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging learning activities and provide individual and group support. The role is ideal for someone passionate about early education and committed to helping children thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils across Key Stage 1 in their learning and development
• Assist with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
• Provide targeted support to pupils who may need additional help
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to the wider school community

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 1
• A caring, patient, and proactive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning preferred)
• A valid DBS or willingness to obtain one
