Monarch Education collaborates with SEND schools across Birmingham, fostering strong relationships to assist with staffing and filling vacancies. We’re currently partnering with a special school that are seeking a dedicated Teacher with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEND) to support a Key Stage 2 class with diverse learning requirements starting in October.
This special school caters to students who all have a statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN), primarily focusing on moderate learning difficulties, with the primary need being Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).

The Role:
As a Key Stage 2 SEND Teacher, your typical day begins with warmly greeting your students at the start of the day. You would be delivering engaging, tailored lessons that incorporate multi-sensory approaches, several learning support assistants providing one-on-one support. You may need to adapt the curriculum to help students navigate the curriculum using sensory aids for the students learn in a different way.
