Monarch Education is working with a range of secondary schools located in the Bolton area and we are currently recruiting for cover supervisors.

You do not need a teaching qualification for the role, just experience working with children. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or someone who wants to pursue a career in the education sector.

This role will develop your experience managing a variety of lessons and building rapport with pupils. This is a great opportunity to develop your teaching ability as well as gain strong classroom management skills in an environment where the lessons will already be pre planned.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with various year groups and covering a range of subjects.
  • Classroom management by managing the behaviour of pupils.
  • Supervising pre-planned lessons.
  • Being a role model to students to allow them to thrive academically.

Requirements of the Candidate:

  • Recent and relevant experience working with young people, this can be in an educational, coaching or a care setting.
  • Have a passion for education and working with children.
  • Have strong behaviour management skills.
  • Have excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Be punctual, flexible and reliable.

This is an ideal role for someone who is looking to develop their experience of working within a school environment or may wish to complete teacher training in the future.
