Monarch Education is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to join a school in Somerset from April 2025. This is a full-time position, ideal for a dedicated and passionate teacher with UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), who can confidently teach Maths to Key Stage 4 (KS4) students.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach and inspire students by fostering innovation and problem-solving skills through hands-on projects and engaging lessons. The school we are partnering with boasts excellent facilities and a supportive senior leadership team committed to the development of both staff and pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS4 students in line with the national curriculum.
Promote innovation and problem-solving through interactive and practical learning experiences.
Foster a positive learning environment, ensuring good classroom management and behaviour.
Support and challenge students to achieve their full potential in Maths.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
Contribute to the wider school community and the continuous improvement of the Maths department.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with consideration for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Maths.
Experience teaching KS4 students, with the ability to inspire and engage learners.
Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
A commitment to helping all students succeed, regardless of their starting point.
A proactive approach to professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
