Hours: Approximately 11:45am – 1:15pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)

About the Role

Monarch Education is seeking a reliable and caring Midday Supervisor to join a welcoming primary school in Belper. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to help create a safe, positive lunchtime environment.

You’ll be responsible for supervising pupils during lunch breaks, promoting good behaviour, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children both in the dining hall and on the playground.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supervising pupils during lunch in the dining hall and playground
  • Encouraging positive play and social interaction
  • Supporting children with any lunchtime needs
  • Managing behaviour in line with school policies
  • Responding calmly and effectively to incidents or accidents

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children (in school, childcare, or similar roles)
  • A friendly, proactive, and patient approach
  • Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
