Do you have an Early year’s qualification and are currently looking for work in a nursery?

Monarch Education are looking for an experienced and qualified Nursery Nurse to join a well-established nursery in Birmingham, B1. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, and will be based in the nursery’s baby room. The position will be supporting the early years development of children and providing personal care when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Early Years/Childcare qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Ability to work independent as well as part of a team.
  • Passionate about child development and providing the highest standard of care.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and early education to children in the nursery setting.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Support the development and delivery of individual learning plans.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain a safe, nurturing environment.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Assist with children’s daily routines, activities and well-being.
  • Provide personal care to children to ensure a high standard of personal care.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding children’s development.
