Early Years Practitioner – Loughborough

Pay Rate: £90 – £110

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join a welcoming early years setting in Loughborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves working with young children and is committed to providing high-quality care and education.

Main Duties:

• Deliver the EYFS curriculum effectively, meeting the individual needs and interests of children.
• Maintain accurate records of key children’s development and share progress with parents/carers.
• Build strong partnerships with families to support children’s learning and well-being.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Report any concerns to the appropriate person (Manager, SENCO, DSL) while maintaining confidentiality.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and occasional out-of-hours activities.
• Uphold all policies and procedures relevant to the role and setting.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness at all times.

Essential:

• Previous experience working with young children.
• Commitment to supporting children and their families.
• Friendly, flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team.
• Physically and mentally fit to work with children.

Desirable:

• Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education (CACHE, BTEC, NVQ) or equivalent.
• Level 2 qualification and working towards Level 3.
