About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join our dedicated and supportive team. The successful candidate will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and inspiring Physics lessons to students of all abilities, from [Year group] to [Year group].
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that fosters a love of Physics.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of all students.
  • Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
  • Prepare students for examinations (e.g., GCSE, A-Level).
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities.

Essential Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Physics or a related subject
  • Proven experience of successful Physics teaching in a secondary school setting
  • Excellent subject knowledge and pedagogical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Passion for inspiring young minds

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience of teaching A-Level Physics
  • Experience of using ICT effectively in the classroom
  • Experience of leading a school Physics department (if applicable)
