Primary Teacher

Primary Teacher – Kings Heath, Birmingham

Monarch Education are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher to start in September 2025. This will be a full time role and will involve planning, marking etc. The school have mentioned that the year group for this role has not yet been confirmed so they need a Primary Teacher who is confident and experienced teaching all primary year groups. You must have QTS to be considered for this role. This role will be until at least Christmas but possibly longer.

Requirements of applicant:

• Qualified Teaching Status (QTS)
• Experienced teaching children in a Nursery Setting (Private or Nursery in a school)
• Outstanding knowledge of the Early Years & Primary National Curriculums
• Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum objectives
• Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively and positively
• Use formative and summative assessment methods to track pupil progress

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson across all subject areas in line with the Curriculum
• Assess and track pupil progress through observations, assessments and regular evaluations
• Provide feedback to pupils and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Follow policies and procedures in line with safeguarding and child protection guidelines
• Foster a caring, inclusive classroom atmosphere where pupils feel valued

Salary: £140+ per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
