ARE YOU A LEVEL 3 QULIFIED NURSERY NURSE?

Monarch education, part of affinity workforce, are working closely with a nursery chain with Birmingham who are looking for a level 3 or higher qualified nursery nurse to join their team.

Ideally this will be full time but part time hours will be considered for the right candidate. Shift rotation (with early/mid/late shifts), working hours are between 7:30am and 6:15pm.

The candidate will be NEED to hold a level 3 childcare or early years, or equivalent, qualifications include: NVQ level 2/3 Childcare and Education, NVQ Level 2/3 Early years care and education, CACHE level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education , Foundation/honours degree in Early Childhood Studies and be able to obtain reference over the last 2 years to prove this.

Key Responsibilities:

• To support the Nursery Manager and Room Leader in the planning and delivery of exciting and enriching play and learning opportunities.
• Making sure that children are safe, happy and stimulated
• To be responsible for the care routines of the children in your group as directed by the Room Leader.
• Communicating information to children using play
• To support Room Leader with observational records of the children.
• Encouraging children’s development and creating a child friendly environment
• Personal care, eg, changing of nappies
• To actively support a two-way flow of information between the nursery and parents/carers of the children.
