School Nurse

Monarch Education are working closely with a unique and inspirational school where their children, parents and staff are at the heart of everything they do. We are currently seeking to appoint a School Nurse on their behalf to ensure the good health and welfare of all pupils, staff and visitors of the school. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.45pm to start in September 2025 for the full academic year.

The pay is pro rata term time only.

Successful candidates will:

• Promote healthy living where appropriate and deliver workshops.
• Provide training to teachers on healthcare issues and advise on school health policies.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children by working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Safeguarding Leads and Social Services in cases of child protection.
• Liaise with the SEND to write Educational Health Care Plans (EHC).
• Any other duties as deemed necessary by the Headteacher or Senior Leadership Team.
• Support children with medical needs such as, but not limited to, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or mental health problems.
