Great Opportunity: Join our team as a Science Teacher in the Rugeley area!

Monarch are currently working with a school in the Rugeley area who are looking for a Science Teacher to join their team ASAP. This role will involve but not be limited to planning, marking and will involve time as the allocated teacher for young learners in KS3. The job is currently expected to run for 3 months until February Half Term, however there is a possibility for extension.

We are looking for a dedicated and hard-working individual to add to their team. Someone who is passionate about teaching and has the ability to share their enthusiasm for Science with all of their students. The successful candidate ideally would have:

  • Hold a QTS(Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Previous experience as a Science Teacher
  • The ability to plan and execute engaging lessons to students
  • Show commitment to improving standards and achieving student goals
  • Committed to assessing students’ progress
  • Hold a DBS which is registered online with the DBS update service or be willing to apply for a new DBS.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or group support to students who may need additional help with assignments, comprehension, or other academic tasks.
  • Prepare and implement lesson plans, including setting up equipment, distributing materials, and facilitating activities.
  • Supervise students during activities and ensure their safety and well-being
  • Ability to grade work, record grades, and provide feedback to students to track their progress.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians as needed regarding student progress, behavior, or other concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, including teachers, administrators, and support personnel, to support the overall goals of the educational institution.
