Monarch Education is seeking an inspiring and dedicated Science Teacher to join a dynamic team at a well-regarded secondary school. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational journey of students in a supportive and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons that promote student learning and enthusiasm for the subject.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback.
  • Develop and implement a stimulating curriculum that meets the needs of diverse learners.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Utilise various teaching strategies and technologies to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support school-wide initiatives and contribute to the overall development of the science program.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote students’ academic and personal growth.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A relevant degree in Science or related field (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Proficient in using technology and digital resources for teaching and learning.
