Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children with complex needs?

A welcoming and inclusive school in the BS5 area of Bristol is seeking a committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join their team from September. This full-time role offers pay to scale and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment where every child is valued.

🧠 About the Role:

  • Start Date: September
  • Location: BS5, Bristol
  • Contract: Full-time, long-term
  • Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience)

👩‍🏫 The Students:

  • Primarily non-verbal learners with a range of complex needs
  • Require a nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching
  • Supported by a strong team of TAs and therapists

✅ What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly those who are non-verbal
  • Knowledge of alternative communication methods (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC)
  • A compassionate and resilient attitude
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams
