SEND Teaching Assistant

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with the SENCO (Special Education Needs), parents and other professionals to ensure the pupil will receive the best support
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment in the classroom which will help promote social and emotional development
• Adapt teaching materials to suit the students individual needs ensuring they are accessible and understandable for all pupils
• Support students who may have physical disabilities by helping with mobility, physical tasks and use of specialised equipment

The ideal candidate will hold:

• Experience working with children with special educational needs in the UK
• Relevant qualifications
