Sports Coach – Special School (Wheatley, Oxfordshire)

Pay: £444.60 – £529.45 per week (paid weekly)

Monarch Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Sports Coach to join a welcoming special school in Wheatley, Oxfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs while sharing your love for sport and physical activity.

Role Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive sports sessions tailored to students with diverse needs.
• Support pupils’ physical development, confidence, and teamwork skills.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists to create a positive learning environment.
• Promote health, wellbeing, and enjoyment through physical education.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sports coaching or physical education.
• Ability to adapt activities for students with SEND.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
