Teacher

Monarch Education are working with a Primary School based in Tamworth who are looking for a full-time Teacher to begin in September 2024 (the school will consider part time applications). The year group has not yet been decided, as the school will work to the successful Teachers strengths. Applications from ECTs will be considered.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
• Engage in short medium- and long-term planning of lessons
• Teach appropriately differentiated lessons which enable pupils of lower ability to engage and also stretch pupils of higher ability.
• Use formative and summative assessment opportunities to maximise pupil progress
• Be a positive role model and consistently demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours

Qualifications, Training and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge of the National Curriculum

• Ability to adapt teaching to meet children’s needs

• Knowledge of inclusive practice

• Knowledge of planning, assessing, monitoring and evaluation
