onarch Education is seeking to appoint a versatile and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join a primary school in Banbury. This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week, and is required to start as soon as possible (ASAP) on a long-term basis.

The school is looking for a flexible and adaptable teacher to provide high-quality PPA cover across various year groups within the school.

About the Role:

As a PPA Teacher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that class teachers have dedicated time for planning, preparation, and assessment. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing PPA cover across a range of year groups within the primary school.
  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons to various classes in the absence of their regular teacher.
  • Maintaining a positive and productive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Following existing lesson plans and schemes of work as provided by the class teacher.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policy.
  • Communicating effectively with class teachers and other members of staff.
  • Contributing to the overall positive ethos of the school.

Candidate Profile:

We are seeking a qualified teacher with experience across the primary age range and the flexibility to work across different year groups. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting.
  • The ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Adaptability and the ability to quickly build rapport with new classes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
