Position Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at an all-through Christian faith school for pupils aged 4 to 16. As an English Teacher, you will contribute to a high-aspiration environment that fosters character development, social responsibility, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality English lessons that promote achievement and a love of literature and language
• Plan and deliver engaging, innovative, and differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support ongoing development
• Inspire pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and a passion for reading and writing
• Contribute to the school’s character-building ethos and leadership programme
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a supportive and aspirational learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Ability to teach English up to GCSE standard
• Experience of delivering outstanding attainment and achievement over time
• Creative and innovative teaching approaches to motivate and enthuse learners
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to inspire both pupils and colleagues
• Passionate about making a positive difference in young people’s lives
