About the Role:
As a Reception Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. You will create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and social development. Your role will include assessing pupils’ progress, providing tailored support, and fostering a positive atmosphere where every child feels valued and safe.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons suitable for early years learners
Monitoring and assessing individual pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Establishing a caring, inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional development
Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support children’s overall development
Implementing effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
Contributing to curriculum development and school community activities
Candidate Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Experience or specialism in Early Years Education is preferred
Passionate about early childhood development and creating inspiring learning experiences
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Patient, enthusiastic, and committed to making a difference in young children’s lives
Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and work collaboratively with staff and families
