Art Specialist Teacher Vacancy – Immediate Start until End of Academic Year
Location: Stafford

Are you a passionate Art teacher looking for a temporary opportunity? A welcoming secondary school in Stafford is seeking an Art Specialist to deliver lessons from now until the end of the academic year, working 3 days a week – Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

About the Role:
This position involves teaching Art to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, focusing on developing students’ creative skills, techniques, and appreciation for art and design. You will deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to explore their artistic talents and improve their practical and theoretical understanding of art.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver creative and engaging Art lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
• Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive, inclusive, and productive environment.
• Support students in developing their coursework and practical projects.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
• Contribute to the fostering of a creative and inspiring art department.

Ideal Candidate:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential.
• Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level, specifically KS3 and KS4.
• Enthusiastic and creative with a passion for art education.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Able to deliver engaging lessons that motivate students of varying abilities.
