Monarch Education is collaborating with a school situated in the South Birmingham, B13 seeking an enthusiastic Physical Education (PE) Teacher of Girls PE to take charge, motivate, inspire, and conduct classes for Key Stage 3 & 4 students. The successful educator should possess prior experience in teaching PE and feel confident in delivering an array of sports aligned with the National Curriculum mandates.

To be considered for this opportunity, the following are essential:

  • Teaching Qualification (QTS): Bachelor of Education/PGCE or an equivalent teaching degree.
  • Ability to foster positive and constructive relationships with students.
  • Adaptability and flexibility, approaching work with an optimistic educational perspective.
  • Proficiency in various sports and the ability to demonstrate core skills.

The school is in search of an individual who can:

  • Strategise lessons with a focus on specific sports, integrating progression into practical drills.
  • Comprehend diverse sports and effectively convey knowledge, skills, and rules.
  • Consistently provide support and motivation to facilitate student progress and individual motivation.
  • Lead both small and large student groups, serving as a mentor.
  • Tailor teaching approaches to suit individual learning capacities and competencies.
  • Embrace a flexible work methodology to align with the school’s requirements and curriculum.
