Teaching Assistant

Location: Northampton – NN4

Pay: £84 – £100 p/day

Start date: 3rd September 2024

Working hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday, FULL TIME

A mainstream secondary school are looking for a dedicated TA to work across their school with a range of students. This role will involve supporting students within the classroom. There will be specific children allocated to assist and most of the students will have lower ability Maths and English skills as well as some behaviour challenges. This is a vibrant and diverse school, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to join a supportive and welcoming team.

This role will be term time only and candidates must have relevant experience, for example working in a previous school or childcare setting. The school are also happy to consider graduates with transferable skills.

Candidates must be ready to start work in September and be able to work 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Previous experience of managing challenging behaviour and working in a fast paced environmental is desirable but not essential. The successful for TA will have a positive work ethic and the passion to take on a new and exciting challenge.
