Monarch Education is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant Level 3. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the teaching and learning process, ensuring the overall development and well-being of students.
Provide support to the classroom teacher in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with the teaching team to create and maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents/guardians as required.
Assist with the preparation and organization of teaching materials and resources.
Supervise students during break times, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Contribute to the overall school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events.
Education: A minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is required.
Experience: Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in an educational setting, preferably at Level 3.
Knowledge: Sound understanding of the national curriculum and teaching methodologies.
Special Educational Needs (SEN) Experience: Experience working with students with special educational needs, including knowledge of relevant strategies and interventions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, teachers, parents/guardians, and other stakeholders.
Teamwork: Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Adaptability: Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
Organization: Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
