Job Title: Year 1 Teacher (Maternity Cover) P/T 0.8 Monday – Thursday

Contract Date: 02/01/2024 – 31/07/2024 initially

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 1 students
  • Planning and implementing a creative and stimulating curriculum
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support

  • Maintaining accurate records and completing necessary administrative tasks


  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in Year 1 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
