Delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 1 students
Planning and implementing a creative and stimulating curriculum
Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
Maintaining accurate records and completing necessary administrative tasks
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching in Year 1 or Key Stage 1
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
