Job Description

1:1 Behaviour Role:

Can you inspire children with your knowledge and ability to be a positive role model?

Do you have a keen interest in developing your SEN understanding? Are you looking to gain experience in working with young people with social and mental health difficulties? Then this may be the perfect role for you.

About the Role:

* Full time, commencing ASAP
* You will be required to work on a 1:1 or small group basis with pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties, including pupils who may sometimes be challenging on a physical level.
* Long term contract with the potential to go permanent.

About you:

* You will be excellent at positively managing behaviour.
* Calm and resilient approach.
* A passion for helping young people progress and develop.
* Previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour and social, emotional and mental health difficulties is desirable.

About the school:

* Special state school that caters for students with Social, Emotional and Mental health difficulties.
* You will be joining a supportive and enthusiastic team that is dedicated to creating a stimulating environment and encourages everyone to reach the best of their ability.
* Based just on the outskirts of central Nottingham.

To be considered for this role, you will need to:

* Have a right to work in the UK (A valid visa)
* Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/Police checks.
