Monarch Education are working in partnership with an Ofsted Outstanding, Primary School in Bishopsworth, Bristol who will be seeking Intervention Specialists to support pupils specifically in EYFS right the way through to Key Stage 2.

The reason the position has come available is due to the recent school closures and the Head Teacher is already looking to the future of when the school gates will re-open. As the date is yet unknown, we’re unable to provide a start date however we are able to begin the recruitment and interview process.

Due to the size of the schools, the Head Teacher will be seeking a minimum of two intervention teachers per Key Stage and three teachers in EYFS. This particular role, will be incredible rewarding and you must have the determination and commitment to want to make a real impact of the learners, once the school re-opens.

As the Intervention Teacher/ HLTA, depending on your experience and specialism, you will be asked to concentrate on either Phonics in EYFS/ KS1 as well as other core subjects. In KS2, the role will be supporting predominantly raising attainment levels of those pupils in Year 5 and potentially Year 6 dependent on the schools re-opening before July 2020.
