There will be opportunities to work as a supply PE teacher within both mainstream and independent schools in and around Taunton.

To be a supply PE teacher you will:

* Have experience of teaching within a UK Secondary School
* Have a thorough understanding of the PE National Curriculum.
* Be prepared to cover subjects outside of your subject specialism

Monarch Education is one of the most established supply agencies in Taunton working very closely with a large number of secondary schools as their first port of call of supply for over eight years. I have exceptional and personal knowledge of the local schools, their ethos and teaching environments. We can also offer work in schools in areas such Cullompton, Chard, Bridgwater, Yeovil, Langport, Wells, Weston-super-Mare, Bristol and beyond.

If you are seeking a more long-term or permanent position in the near future, we are in a fantastic position to place you into roles within these schools as there is a high demand for secondary teachers that are looking to commit and take the next step in their teaching career. A large proportion of our supply teacher positions become permanent as we have excellent relationships with our secondary schools and we have previously placed people into both full-time and part-time permanent positions.

If you are an NQT we can provide the opportunity to develop your teaching skills and experience within a diverse range of local schools. We welcome applicants from NQTs as we have regularly assisted newly qualified teachers with signing off their Induction and finding their first permanent position in the local area.

Monarch Education provide CPD to our staff including the opportunity to gain qualifications such as Team Teach training and has been awarded the REC Gold Standard to denote excellence in providing staff to schools.

If you would like to apply for this supply teaching position, please apply online.
