Monarch Education are working with a number of partner Secondary Schools & Academies in Birmingham, with strong working relationships with these schools that have been built up over the last 10 years. We are looking to speak with Teaching Assistants or Learning Support Assistants to work on a full-time basis in these schools from the Autumn Term.
Schools are awaiting confirmation of ECHP (Education Health Care Plans) funding over the summer break and are planning for the additional support they need for pupils with additional needs. In addition to this, pupils will be returning to schools in September after 6 months away from the school environment; this will be a challenging transition for some, with some barriers to overcome. We are looking for Teaching Assistants who can work with these pupils to help bridge gaps in learning and help them in the classroom to ensure they are on track and can access their learning
You will have experience with young people ideally in an Education setting, however voluntary work or experience from other sectors such as SEN charities, youth work, residential settings or tutoring will also be considered.
The schools we work with are very supportive and are committed to ensuring pupils reach their true potential and enjoy attending school.
To be considered for these roles, please submit your cv / covering letter – detailing your experience working with children & young people and we can ensure the most appropriate consultant is in contact to discuss further
