Salary: £162-£223

Contract Type: Part-time (Tuesday and Wednesdays).

Monarch Education are seeking a dedicated Year 3 Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Birmingham, Selly Oak. This part time role requires the teacher to take on full responsibility for a year 3 class, planning, delivering lessons and assessing pupil’s progress.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to year 3 students.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Asses and track student progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure the best outcomes for students.
• Plan and prepare lessons in line with the school curriculum.
• Participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• MUST understand the UK National Curriculum.
• Previous experience teaching in primary education (Year 3 experience is preferred but not essential).
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the up-to-date service or willing to get one.
