Our mission is clear: to empower schools by providing them with skilled, dedicated, and passionate staff who can inspire and engage students. Whether it’s primary, secondary, or special educational needs (SEN) settings, we are committed to excellence and innovation in all aspects of education staffing.

Since Monarch Education was formed in 2000, we have grown and evolved, marking numerous milestones along the way. Our journey reflects our commitment to making a significant impact in the education sector. Monarch Education was formed – initially based in Birmingham and covering only the West Midlands

2001

Monarch Education expands to cover the Black Country

2002

Monarch Education expands to cover Coventry/ Warwickshire

September 2008

Manchester Office opened

Bristol Office was opened

September 2017

AWS was created incorporating the Monarch Education and CER brands

June 2018

AWS appointed as a CCS provider across Lot 1 & Lot 2 of the first CCS Framework iteration

Our commitment to sustainability

Last year, Affinity Workforce and its brands made a commitment to reduce its carbon footprint and become a more sustainable business.

We have partnered with Greener Energy Futures and TEMWA Carbon Balance, to reduce and offset our carbon emissions to protect communities across the world, who are severely impacted by climate change.

In 2024, Affinity Workforce has donated more than £7,500 to TEMWA Carbon Balance to help fund tree planting in disadvantaged areas of Malawi. In 2022, Affinity Workforce donated more than £5,000 to plant 4,120 trees and offset the 412 tonnes of carbon it produced.
