Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are looking for motivated and welcoming Teaching Assistants to support a variety of local schools in and around the Stonehouse area. We are looking for supportive individuals to come in and assist the teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment, as well as assisting the pupils with their everyday needs. This is a great opportunity for those local to the area to register their interest and get your CV in front of the schools for the next academic year too!

Required experience and qualifications:

• Will have previous experience as a teaching assistant or within a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Be able to motivate and support children from all backgrounds, as well as support their individual needs.
• Assist the teacher in maintaining a positive and safe learning space.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborating effectively with the teacher and fellow Teaching Assistants to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Assisting with behaviour management, applying your skills to create a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Providing one-on-one and group support to students.
• Building great relationships with staff and children to maximise their engagement in activities.
