Level 3 Teaching Assistant, Oxford

A primary school in the heart of Oxford are actively looking for a qualified teaching assistant to join their school on a full time basis. The role will start November 2024.

This role will involve supporting pupils with speech delays and Mild Learning Difficulties and will require experience and an understanding of working with children with additional needs.

This role requires a CACHE (or equivalent) qualified teaching assistant.

It would be beneficial to have an understanding of Makaton, BSL and other forms of non-verbal communication.

Job responsibilities:

  • Assisting the class teacher with all activities
  • Creating a positive environment where all pupils can excel and learn creatively
  • Observing and assessing individual pupil development
